About Us
We are professional coaches who believe deeply in the power and possibilities of relationships. We love to support couples in fulfilling their dreams for their relationships. That's why we are calling ourselves the Relationship Champions.
We have both seen that many people are not getting everything they want or could have from their relationships, and they don't know how else to be. As trained coaches, we know we can help, so we have developed workshops and private coaching services that are strengths-based and especially for couples. If what we focus on grows doesn't it make sense to focus on what is working?
We think strong relationships support individuals in becoming strong, which leads to strong families, and ultimately leads to strong communities. We can envision a better world as more couples learn how to grow with each other and keep their love alive.
We do not do marriage counseling or anything else designed to "fix" broken relationships. We work with fabulous couples who know they love each other but wonder if there could be even more.
Here are seven things we believe:
- Couples tend to focus on what's wrong rather than what's right, so they often miss the strengths they already have together.
- Love is rarely enough to guarantee a great relationship. Skills are also needed.
- Skills can be taught and learned. You have it in you!
- Dreams are a blueprint for your life. It's important to be deliberate about your dreams.
- Working with a coach (or coaches) is an exploration, not a problem-solving process. Problems get solved as a by-product of the exploration.
- A workshop you go to with your partner is a fun and effective way to learn, plan, envision, dream, and connect. It is quality time for just the two of you and often creates lasting memories.
- Coaching speeds up the process of finding and using your strengths, clarifying your goals and values, getting where you want to go as a couple.
